NEW YEARS SHOW AND TRIBUTE Friday - Day 13 Part 1

Well here it is, the post you have all been waiting for.  The one..... The only...... NEW YEARS SHOW AND TRIBUTE!!!!!  We were invited to the New Year's show quite a while ago, but not like weeks ago. As the title implies it is a show, and a very interesting one. Here is a casting lineup. Vladik got married at a ripe young age so he played a groom and was in a tux and everything.  Lera was a rapper person, her role was very entertaining.  Kristina's role............ I'm not sure, and Luba did not perform.  After this program, we happened to hear about another one, a seperate program and we thought musical instruments would be involved, so we hung around to see what it was all about.   We found out it was another play/dance show that just had older the kids in it Kristina's age.  We stayed longer for this and found out Kristina was in it, and at the end of the show Kristina and we were surprised to find that they (friends and caregivers and such) had planned a special tribute for her as a going away gift. After everyone's words of affection had been said we went our separate ways.  

We went to the market with the Macy's and did a few things, including mailing a package in Ukraine (that's a story for another blog,)  before we headed back to our hotel to get ready to go back to the orphanage for our visitation time with the children.
