Unknown Talent Thursday - Day 12
Well today was a very good day, I woke up to find my dad had already met the Macy's. We ate breakfast and then came back to one of the sitting areas on the second floor of the hotel. We read a chapter in Luke and then the Macy's came in too. We formally introduced ourselves and started to talk, they had just gotten back from the market which was where we were headed. We talked to each other a little while longer before we headed out. The market is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from our hotel and when we got there we set out to find the items we were there for. We looked around at the various scrunched booths and bought a warmer pot thing to heat water to make American coffee (dad was extremely excited about it). We also bought some house slippers, and some candy. Then we made our routine trip to the internot (Russian for orphanage) and when we got there we looked for everyone but all we could find was Luba, and everyone else was in dance/play practice. Sooo, we played with Luba and her friends and then we were surprised to find that Luba could play the Ukranian guitar! We thought she could play the guitar when we hosted her and her siblings, but I asked her to and she said she couldn't or something like that, so we assumed she couldn't. It turns out that she can play it because it is like a mandolin, not a guitar, here's a video, it is dedicated to Landon Nettles.

Way to go Luba. Look at the dexterity in those fingers!
