Today was our second day partying and was tons upon tons of fun. Today is Kristina's going away party day and......... wondering what else? Kristina's 14th birthday..... just kidding, it's her 15th, you see, there's a little sibling rivalry over age, meaning Kristina and I. Since she is 4 months older than I am. Her birthday is January 4th and mine is April 21st. So start picking out my cards everybody, just kidding, but we can't stop you since we are, you know, a couple thousand miles away. Anyway, back to the day, we woke up to find that it was snowing, and not a little, a lot!!! At least seven inches and that being when we woke up, because it snowed most of the day. So we started to get ready for the day ahead of us. When we made it to the orphanage Kristina and her friends were waiting on us outside the orphanage. Their we're a few kids other than Kristina's classmates throwing snowballs and I convinced dad to throw a few. Then suddenly dad gets hit from behind by Olga, one of Kristina's close friends, and then it was on, we walked a little while and then Olga and some others started throwing snowballs at me and thus began World War Three, It was a ton of fun, there's so much snow here compared to Missisippi, but in the past week or even more than that it hasn't snowed, today was the second time we have seen a lot of snow. When we got to the bowling alley I was put on a lane with two other people and started bowling. After the bowling we made our way back to the orphanage dodging snowballs and posing for pictures.
When we got to the orphanage we went to Kristina's floor and had her birthday party. We ate cake and drank Coke and Fanta, and after many toasts to Kristina and jokes, Kristina opened her present from us, which were earrings. After the party we went and had lunch and then went back to the orphanage for our regular time with the kids, as usual we played cards and such, then left. Earlier Kristina asked if we could get some writable DVD"S so we went and got those at the malll. We had planned to take a taxi back to the hotel but couldn't get one, so we decided to go to Istanbulitsa and ask our friend Serhan (The owner of the restaurant) if he could call us one. So we waited outside with him and then took our taxi back to the hotel.

That's the owner by dad, he likes to practice his English. |
Hey group love that snow. I wish we could be there to throw some of those snowballs. Sounds like fun. Enjoy because when you get back to Mississippi you know it is cool one day and hot the next. Take care and God Bless, Pam
