Christmas Day - Saturday Day 14

Merry Christmas, I hope everyone had a good one!

I know we sure did.  It was a different Christmas and I wish we could have celebrated it with friends and family, but since our biggest Christmas present was in Ukraine we had to go pick it up.  We found out that the SDA has signed off on our paperwork and it is back in the hands of our facilitators in Kiev.  They will put it on the train back to our region sometime this weekend so we can hopefully set up a court date for sometime next week.  We are still in need of that corrected court decree though.  We can not move forward without it.

Although we were separated from friends and family there is a thing called Skype.  We were able to Skype with some friends of ours, and we caught them before they opened their presents.  It made us all so happy to see them and talk to them.

Now if your wondering if anyone here received any presents, the answer is yes.  I received a watch and a convenient speaker, that can plug into any headphone jack and amplify the sound.  I also received, in an envelope, 200 grivna which is equal to $25.00.  My biggest gift was left at home.  (The Hunters' know what it is.)

We spent the afternoon with the Macy's, playing with our kids and later ate Christmas dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in Ukraine, Istanbulitsa!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!  HO!  HO!  HO!

I wasn't a big fan of the backlava, it just wasn't my forte'
Santa and I are close friends.  I wrote him a letter telling him where to find us.

  1. Hooray for Skype! Turns out you guys were the only friends or family we got to see over the Christmas weekend, because we got stuck at home with three of us battling colds and stuff. We love y'all and are happy to see things going as well as they are.
