Your going to adopt? Well thats nice, A boy or girl? well....There are four. WAIT,HOW MANY?!!!!

Hi, my name is Kaden, now I suppose I exaggerated that a little bit, but I guess it's safe to say that's basically the reaction we get when we tell people we are going to adopt. Here's the story. This past summer my family and I hosted four kids from Ukraine, oldest to youngest, Kristina(14), Lera(11), Luba(10), Vladik(8). When we went to the airport in Atlanta to pick them up, we waited, and we waited some more and finally we saw them pour out of the airport gate, orphans by the hundreds they poured out (more like tens by tens, but there were a lot and all with blue New Horizons t-shirts.) Then we saw them, not sure if they were our's but they were looking at our welcome sign that had their picture on it and were whispering. Are these our four, well there weren't any other sibling groups of four but at the time I only recognized two or three, aaaaand yep, they were our four, and for five weeks. Well we went to our hotel where we were given gifts of candy, a cool paper bowl, a picture of a pink rabbit, and for me a red teddy bear. The next day we went back home to be surprised with gifts from our friends, crayons, soccer ball and McDonalds gift cards, yae!!! We had our difficulties, mostly about equality. They loved playing the Wii and "futbol" (soccer) and playing with Monopoly money. One of our funny experiences was when we ate at a Mexican restaurant and Kristina saw a red truck as we pulled out of our parking spot and said "Red machina, my FAVORITE." Now, let's fast forward, our family has our adoption documents submitted to Ukraine and now all we are waiting for is approval to go over and start the adoption process over there, and that's it, post later.
